Be SMART！Make a Difference

We are taking action torespond to interested in various forms of emerging technology, including global scale artificial intelligence, smart robots, and other new technology applications trends, such as the Internet of Things and Big Data, as well as national industrial policies, such as the New Southbound Policy.  Action is also being taken to establish cooperation between new retail businesses and OCU, such as promoting AI and Intelligent Design Development application for local businesses, such as in the tourism and hospitality industries.

The department combines contents relating to business and management, design and information, tourism and hospitality, and other professional fields. We will continue our efforts through establishing an innovative teaching environment and learning strategies while cultivating professional skills, in addition to enhancing the public nature of higher education and expanding participation of teachers and students in the sphere of social responsibility. This program integrates the specialties of the three different colleges.

The development of SMART (Service, Management, Artificial Intelligence, New Retail, Technology) concepts involves setting the main axis of the "Be SMART! Make a Difference” project to train our students to excel in their professional fields, as well as build an increasingly sophisticated and high quality undertakings at this university of science and technology.
